Belagavi: Three people from a family who
were gripped with financial problem ended their lives by jumping into the Krishna river in Chikkodi taluk on Sunday.

Ashok Ramchandra Kamble, 70, Nirmala Ashok Kamble, 64, and Arun Ashok Kamble, 40, were found dead floating in the river near Kallol. The deceased who were residing at Yaddur in Chikkodi taluk had left their home four days ago telling they would go to another place to stay with their relatives.

70-year-old Ashok Kamble was paralysed for 8 years and the family was said to be obtained a loan from a few financial institutions and was facing a hard time to repay the same. The Ankali police have registered a case.
